Camp wide activities such as boating and fishing, swimming, nature, archery, and shooting sports. Campers stay in themed villages: Medieval Castle, High Seas Pirate Ships, Native American Village, Pioneer Fort, and Mountain Scouts Brigade.

We register for a single session as a pack, but you can also register for additional/alternate sessions individually if it's a better fit for your schedule. Emails will be sent to our members with information detailing how to sign up and make payments. Please note that an initial deposit and final payment are due on certain days to guarantee the "early bird" price.

For more information regarding CSAC program activities and their villages, please see our Pittsford CubScouts sister-site. For information regarding this year's session, please continue reading the sections below.

Summer Camp 2024 Information

Session Dates

We are in the process of determining a session for 2024.

Camp Costs

Notes:

Financial assistance is available through the council's "campership" program. Details and the online application are available at the council's Campership Information page.

Payment Schedule

We will withhold the remaining youth and adult portions of the payment to the council until the last possible moment in order to be able to re-coup a portion of your payment in the event you need to cancel, but are asking for this payment in full as of 5/8 in order to keep record keeping simple.

Committee Note: The pack is required to make the remaining early bird you payment to the council by Sunday 5/15 and both the adult payments and the non-early bird remaining balances by Wednesday 6/29.

Cancellation Policy

Any payments made to the council are considered non-refundable, with a couple of limited exceptions. In some cases a deposit made can be shifted to a new registrant from our pack who has not yet paid. Should you be unable to attend camp after having paid fees, please see the current year's CSAC registration information for the cancellation policy.

Parent/Guardian Attendance

The council has rules about the ratio of adults-to-scouts that must be in attendance. Our pack has a policy that either:

a) A parent/guardian 18+ years old attends with their Scout OR

b) You make arrangements with another parent to be responsible for your child during the session

In addition to having the great experience of attending camp with your child, we don't want adult leaders to be put in a position of supervising others for an extended duration.

Please note that all adults attending camp will be required to complete (or renew) their Youth Protection Training certificate, which is an online course that takes about an hour or so and is good for two years. You can find information on completing that here: Youth Protection Training.

Village Assignments

We attempt to book Arrow of Light scouts in the Mountain Scouts Brigade, as that village is tent camping, has more rigorous hikes, and is a good transition as scouts look to cross over into Scouts BSA (formerly "Boy Scouts"). For other scouts, we attempt to book a single site to keep scouts together and rotate thru the available villages year over year.
